Read decimal odds
Decimal odds include the original stake in the total return. For example, a €10 stake at 3.00 decimal odds would return €30 if the selection wins: €10 stake plus €20 profit. This is a mathematical illustration, not a quoted price or offer.
Convert odds to implied probability
Divide 1 by the decimal odds and multiply by 100. At 2.00, the simple implied probability is 50%; at 4.00, it is 25%. Real markets include margin and reflect a price, not a guarantee that an outcome will occur.
Use the calculator
Enter decimal odds and a stake in the calculator to see the gross return and profit. Check the odds format before entering a price: fractional and American odds need conversion first. The calculator uses the displayed numbers and does not assess an event.
Frequently asked questions
Do higher odds mean a more likely result?
No. Decimal odds imply a lower probability as the number rises. Odds are a price and do not predict or guarantee an outcome.
